Quick Answer
The Collector Score is a competitive system that ranks players based on their collections of Block Explorers, Passes, and Badges. It launched December 17, 2024, resets every season (~6 weeks), and awards real UPX prizes each season. As of Blossom 2026, first place earns 200,000 UPX.
How Does It Work?
Your score is calculated from three asset categories:
| Category | Weight | What Matters |
|---|---|---|
| Block Explorers | 30% | Age, mint total, mint number |
| Passes | 20% | Season Passes + City Passes |
| Badges | 50% | Rarity (fewer holders = more points) |
Burned items are excluded from your score. Two leaderboards exist: Seasonal (resets each season, awards prizes) and All-Time (cumulative, no documented prizes). Tiebreaker: first player to reach the score wins.
What Do I Win?
Current season (Blossom 2026) prizes:
- 1st–3rd: 200,000 UPX + Collector Badge + Budley the Roselight Block Explorer
- 4th–10th: 50,000 UPX + Roselight Block Explorer
- 11th–25th: Roselight Block Explorer
Prize currency shifted from SPARKLET (at launch) to UPX (from Sizzle 2025 onward). See the full prize history in our guide.
Where Is the Leaderboard?
The Collector Score leaderboard is hosted outside the Upland game platform on an external website. It has been in “open beta” since December 2024 — 16 months with no published timeline for in-game integration. Upland's stated goal: to “refine and eventually integrate.”
Getting Started
- Focus on badges — at 50% weighting, they're the single most impactful category. Rare badges (fewer holders) score highest.
- Don't burn collectibles — burned items are excluded from your score.
- Only current-season items count for the Seasonal Leaderboard (the one with prizes).
