What Are Collections?
Collections are groups of properties within a city that, when all owned by one player, unlock a yield multiplier on every property in that collection. They're one of the most reliable ways to boost your earnings in Upland.
Collection Tiers
| Tier | Difficulty | Yield Multiplier | Availability |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | Easy | Lowest boost | Most accessible |
| Limited | Moderate | Good boost | Limited property count |
| Exclusive | Hard | Strong boost | Fewer qualifying properties |
| Rare | Very Hard | High boost | Competitive to complete |
| Ultra Rare | Extremely Hard | Highest boost | Very few properties, very expensive |
Higher tiers provide better yield multipliers but require more expensive and harder-to-find properties.
Strategy
Start with Standard collections. They're the easiest to complete and start generating boosted yields immediately. Even a small multiplier on day one beats waiting months for a Rare collection.
Check before you mint. Before buying any property, check if it's part of a collection you can realistically complete. A collection property is worth more than a standalone property at the same price.
City Evolutions create new collections. When a city gets an Evolution drop, new collections often come with it. Players who are already holding properties in those neighborhoods may find themselves one or two properties away from completing a new collection.
Collections from city openings are revealed over time. New cities use a rolling reveal system — collections are announced weekly as they're fully minted, keeping excitement alive for weeks after launch.
Collections are one of the things Upland genuinely gets right. They reward strategic property acquisition, create natural demand on the secondary market, and provide tangible yield benefits. No future promises — the multiplier works today.
