    How Status Works

Your Upland status is determined by your net worth — the total value of all properties and assets in your account. Higher status unlocks more features and abilities.

    What Matters About Status

Uplander is the minimum. Most game features require Uplander status. Getting here should be your first goal — it's achievable through FSA properties and basic minting.

Service structure drops require Uplander status. You can't buy weekly structures without it.

Gamified Earnings leaderboards are tiered by status. Uplander/Pro compete together, Directors compete separately, Executive+ compete separately. This means you're ranked against peers at similar levels.

All Uplanders can sell assets for USD. The NFT-to-USD program is available to all Uplanders (10K+ UPX). The difference is the holding period — Uplanders wait 30 days after acquiring a property, while Executives wait only 3 days. KYC identity verification is required. Max $10,000 per transaction.

FSA properties have a longer hold: Properties minted through the Fair Start Act program have a 6-month USD holding period, separate from the standard status-based holds. This applies regardless of the player's status at the time of resale.
