The Uppiepedia is legitimate and each Uppie has up to 13 possible personality traits (minimum 4 at level 1). That's verifiable on the card and documented in Upland's own October 2025 progression guide. There's more detail here now than there was three months ago — acknowledge that before criticizing what's still missing.
The July 2025 announcement said Uppies would be "real digital citizens with personalities, interests, and unique stories" and explicitly promised they wouldn't be "mere statistics." What shipped six months later is a sticker on a card. Traits don't affect how an Uppie interacts with your property, whether it can be employed, or how it contributes to neighborhood events. Cosmetic tags on a digital collectible are not citizens of a living world.
The Discovery Minigame — described in the very first Uppies article as the primary acquisition method — is still "in active development" nine months later. The core "bring neighborhoods to life" framing remains unshipped. A catalog of traits is not the gameplay system that was promised, and the primary way to get an Uppie in April 2026 is still a $20 or $50 store pack.
