Uppie Sweetener Sale Returns: Now with Generation 3 Uppies

Upland says it explicitly: "players are purchasing UPX" and "the Uppies are included as a free bonus." That confirmation is useful. $20 buys $20 of UPX at the standard store rate; the Uppies are decorative attachment to that purchase. The UPX-bundled-as-bonus pattern is now the standard format across recent BE drops, Terraformer drops, and now Uppie drops.

"More detail, more emotion, more unique visual personality" is everything we learn about Generation 3 in this article. No new utility. No new gameplay function. No new Resident Score interaction. The May 5 Dev Update introduced the only concrete near-term Uppie utility — Level 3+ Uppies auto-petting plants on properties, in the future, with all eligible Uppies providing the same benefit regardless of generation or traits. The Builder Pack's "Level 3+" framing leans on that future utility without delivering it.
