Resident Score measures how attractive your neighborhood is to Uppies. It combines your Service Score, Influence Score, and other infrastructure factors. Neighborhoods with higher scores are supposed to attract more Uppies and eventually receive better rewards.
Does It Do Anything Yet?
Rankings exist and update. That's about it. No tangible reward has been attached to high neighborhood rankings as of April 2026.
We built Downtown LA from #30 to #2 and received zero yield bonus, zero Uppie benefit, zero tangible reward. The scoring system works — the rewards don't.
Should You Build For It?
Yes, but with realistic expectations. If rewards eventually arrive, early builders will be positioned. If they don't, you've built a strong neighborhood with a good community. Either way, focus on collection yields and Gamified Earnings for tangible returns first.
